Other Items of Note

I have worked on both PC and Mac environments with many years of experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite of products as well as Apple Final Cut and Motion. I also have experience in the creation and maintenance of Adobe LiveCycle forms (both dynamic and static accessible PDF forms).

I have acting supervisory experience which includes helping staff and train new positions (assessments of applications, testing and interviews of applicants, calling references – student job placements). I have assigned projects (from within and outside the branch), provided design revision and verification, obtained supplier submissions, and provided project budget proposals for client approval as well as for contracting. I’ve also managed a team of three for four months during which I consulted on marketing and communication planning and annual printing budgets (forecasting).

I have volunteered my services as a graphic designer for my local hospital’s fundraising initiatives which included translation (from French to English) as well as editing services.

I have provided visual support for embassies around the world (experience in adjusting to work with many languages that I have no ability to read – including those from Europe, the Middle East and Asia).

I also have a background in fine arts (commercial illustration – both with ink/paint and digital).
